Welcome to the Trusted Lawyers Network
The Trusted Lawyer’s Network’s (“TLN”) products, services, and websites are provided by Trusted Lawyers, LLC (“Trusted Lawyers”) These terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) govern your use of Trusted Lawyers’ websites, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”), so please read them carefully. By accessing this website or using the Services, you are agreeing to the Terms and Privacy Policy (“Agreement”).
1. Using Our Services
Your use of the Services constitutes your binding acceptance of the Terms, including any modifications that we make. This Agreement will constitute a binding and enforceable agreement between you (individually and in your individual capacity as an employee, officer, agent, partner, etc. of each organization you represent in connection with any use of the Service) and Trusted Lawyers. If you are using the Services on behalf of any entity, then you are agreeing to the Terms on behalf of that entity.
By using the Service or any Services, you acknowledge and agree that you have fully read and agree to be bound by the provisions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety, then you must immediately stop using the TLN web site and all Services. Although the registration process may require you to “click-through” or otherwise affirmatively agree to be bound by the provisions of this Agreement, this Agreement is binding on you by your use of the Trusted Lawyer’s website or Services, regardless of whether or not you choose to register.
2. The Trusted Lawyer Rating
A TLN rating reflects Trusted Lawyer’s assessment of a given lawyer, based upon the information obtained by or submitted to Trusted Lawyers. Someone else’s assessment of the same lawyer may be very different or be based upon different information. A TLN rating is not an endorsement of any particular lawyer, and is not a guarantee of a lawyer’s quality, competency, or character. Nor is the TLN rating a predictor of the outcome of any matter in which such lawyer is involved. Rather, the TLN rating is intended to be a starting point to gather information about lawyers who may be suitable for your legal needs – but you should not rely solely on the TLN rating in deciding whether to contact or hire any given lawyer.
3. Information on the Services
Our Services display both TLN created content and content that is not created or developed by Trusted Lawyers’ (the “Legal Information”). We may review third party-content to determine whether it is illegal or violates our policies, and we may remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or the law. But we do not routinely screen third-party content that is published via our Services. This includes the Legal Information that lawyers post on TLN, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy, adequacy or quality of any such Legal Information, or the qualifications of those posting it.
4. No Formation of an Attorney-Client Relationship
The Legal Information found on TLN is intended for general informational purposes only and should be used only as a starting point for addressing your legal issues. The Legal Information is not the provision of legal services, and accessing such information, or corresponding with or asking questions to a lawyer via the Services, or otherwise using the Services. You acknowledge that no attorney-client relationship
is, or will be, formed through the use of this website, and that you have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality of communications occurring through this website. The hiring of an attorney is a critical decision and should not be predicated solely on comments, recommendations, advertisements, user content or other posted materials contained on trustedlawyers.com or any other website of TLN. It is not a substitute for an in-person or telephonic consultation with a lawyer licensed to practice in your jurisdiction about your specific legal issue, and you should not rely on such Legal Information. You understand that questions and answers or other postings to the Services are not confidential and are not subject to attorney-client privilege.
5. Legal Services for Consumers
The TLN is a platform where lawyers unaffiliated with Trusted Lawyers can offer information and interact with consumers. Although some of these methods involve Trusted Lawyers processing a transaction on your behalf, in all instances, Trusted Lawyers is simply the intermediary in such transactions. You are liable for paying the lawyer for the services provided. Trusted Lawyers has no liability, either primarily or secondarily, for paying the lawyer other than as an agent on your behalf. The fees you pay for such services are charged by the lawyer and passed through to the lawyer once services have been rendered. Any attorney-client relationship formed as a result of such discussions is between you and the lawyer you speak with—not between you and Trusted Lawyers. Furthermore, you understand that Trusted Lawyers cannot be held responsible for the quality or accuracy of any information or legal services provided by lawyers you connect with via the TLN.
6. Premium Services for Lawyers
The TLN offers optional subscription services for lawyers, including, but not limited to a custom profile builder, practice areas, states of practice, honorees, and advertising (collectively, the “Premium Services”). However, the TLN only allows a certain number of honorees to be listed in online on the TLN website. By selecting a Premium Service, you agree to pay Trusted Lawyers the subscription or usage fees (the “License Subscription Fees”) indicated for that service. You further agree to provide Trusted Lawyers with a valid payment method from which Trusted Lawyers will automatically charge Subscription Fees as they become due on the first of every month following Your initial signup for Premium Services. Subscription Fees will be charged on the day your Premium Service goes into effect and will cover the use of that service for the period indicated. Thereafter, you agree that monthly payments will continue to be charged to your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your Premium Service. The amount of the monthly recurring charge will be the then-current Subscription Fee applicable to the Premium Service you selected. You acknowledge that the amount of the recurring charge may increase if the applicable Subscription Fee increases.
Premium Services must be cancelled prior to the applicable renewal date in order to avoid billing of the next month’s Subscription Fee. Trusted Lawyers must receive written notice of your cancellation or reduction in service at least thirty (30) days in advance of the applicable renewal date on which you wish to make the cancellation or reduction effective. All cancellations or reductions of advertising services must be received in writing by email (billing@trustedlawyers.com) or by U.S. mail (301 Yamato Road, Suite 1240, Boca Raton, FL 33431 USA, ATTN: Cancellations). Subscription Fees for Premium Services are not prorated or refundable. In no event will a cancellation or reduction in service relieve you of your obligation to pay the Subscription Fees that are due for the period prior to the effective date of cancellation or reduction in service.
If your payment method fails or your account is past due, Trusted Lawyers reserves the right to either suspend or terminate your Premium Services. Any such suspension or termination will result in the cancellation of any promotional programs applicable to your Premium Services. You agree to submit any
disputes regarding any charge to your account in writing to Trusted Lawyers within sixty (60) days of such charge, otherwise such dispute will be waived, and such charge will be final and not subject to challenge.
Premium Services may include the publication of advertising or website content you provide to us (the “Premium Services Content”). You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the Premium Services Content posted on TLN or websites supported by TLN. You give Trusted Lawyers our affiliates, providers of third party services, and subcontractors a non-exclusive, fully-paid, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable, revocable, worldwide license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute the Premium Services Content (in whole or in part) in providing the Services.

Each registration is for a single user only, unless otherwise expressly provided on the registration page. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. In case of misuse, we may terminate further access or take such other action as we, in our sole discretion, deem appropriate. If you believe there has been unauthorized use, you must notify us immediately.
8. Limited License to Use Logo
If you subscribe to TLN’s Premium Services, Trusted Lawyers’ grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable, limited license to use the TLN Honoree logo (the “Logo”) for your own personal, business & website use, and marketing materials IN THE GEOGRAPHIC REGIONS AND FOR THE PRACTICE AREAS SELECTED BY YOU IN YOUR PROFILE. Trusted Lawyers reserves the right to terminate this license at any time and for any reason if TLN discovers you are using the TLN Honoree logo outside of the geographic areas and practice areas you selected. Your failure to comply with these Terms will result in automatic termination of this license, without prior notice, and you must immediately destroy all copies of downloaded materials in your possession or control.
Except as otherwise provided, you acknowledge and agree that you have no right to modify, edit, copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, alter, enhance or in any way exploit any of the Logo. You shall not remove any copyright notice from any Logo. If it is discovered that the use of the Logo is being used by an attorney outside their practice area or in a state outside where the attorney is licensed, Trusted Lawyers may automatically terminate the Agreement.

Trusted Lawyers’ is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Trusted Lawyers of the Third Party Site, nor does it imply that Trusted Lawyers sponsors, is affiliated or associated with, guarantees, or is legally authorized to use any trade name, registered trademark, logo, legal or official seal, or copyrighted symbol that may be reflected in the links. You acknowledge that you bear all risks associated
with access to and use of content provided on a Third-Party Site and agree that Trusted Lawyers is not responsible for any loss or damage of any sort you may incur from dealing with a third party.
